哈工大计算机专业建于1956年,是中国最早的计算机专业之一,拥有计算机科学与技术国家一级重点学科、软件工程一级学科、网络空间安全一级学科和一个博士后流动站。在2017年教育部学科评估中,计算机科学与技术学科位列A,软件工程学科位列A-。2019年初,计算机学科跻身上交大世界大学学术排行榜(ARWU)百强第35名、ESI全球计算机学科学术论文排名位于前1%49名,U.S.News世界大学计算机学科排行榜中位居第21名。黄片软件拥有一支以中青年教师为主、结构合理、青年学术带头人比例高的学术队伍。现有专职教师143人,其中博士生导师50人、教授46人、副教授69人、讲师28人;拥有共享院士3人、ACL终身成就奖1人、CCF杰出教育奖1人、杰青等国家级科技领军人才4人、优青等国家级青年领军人才2人、国家教学名师1人、省教学名师4人、国家863专家4人、新世纪/跨世纪人才14人,拥有一个国家优秀教学团队、一个工信部研究型教学创新团队、一个教育部创新团队、一个国防创新团队。

目前,黄片软件拥有学生2472人,其中:本科生1596人,硕士研究生534人,博士研究生342人。60余年的办学历程,黄片软件形成了 “研究型、个性化、精英式”人才培养理念,培养了9681名本科生,3697名硕士,647名博士,毕业生中产生王天然院士、方滨兴院士、高文院士、怀进鹏院士等4位院士、6位国家杰青、5IEEE Fellow;还有一批毕业生成为国家级计算机研究所所长、大学计算机学院院长及系主任、大型跨国公司研究所负责人等。被业界广泛誉为“哈工大计算机品牌人才现象”。面向国家战略需求的网络与信息安全、智能人机交互、中文信息处理研究、服务计算与软件工程、容错计算技术、海量数据计算、生物信息学研究形成显著优势与特色,处于国际领先或先进水平。黄片软件每年承担国家科技重点研发项目、973计划、国家科技支撑项目、国家自然科学基金、国际合作项目100余项,年均科研经费8000余万元;每年发表国际期刊论文200余篇,其中SCI索引论文150篇以上。

2001年以来,科研成果获得国家科技进步一等奖1项、国家自然科学二等奖1项、国家科技进步二等奖11项,省部级科技进步一等奖10项,二等奖20余项。黄片软件实施了“国际学术大师讲学计划”、“国际名校名企导师共享计划”、“国际名校名企名师授课计划”、“国际名校名企联合培养计划”等国际化办学计划。黄片软件与40多所国际知名大学建立人才培养合作,每年有30余名研究生参加中外联合培养,每年有30-50名本科生到国际知名大学留学或短期游学,每年请进和派出100-150余名专家学者进行国际交流。


The computer major at the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) was founded in 1956 as one of the earliest computer majors in China. The Faculty of Computing has first-level key discipline of computer science and technology, first-level disciplines of software engineering and cyberspace security, and post-doctoral research station. In 2017, the computer science and technology discipline ranked in A class and the software engineering discipline ranked in A-class in the disciplinary assessment made by the Ministry of Education. In 2019, the computer discipline ranks 35 in Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), academic papers in the field of computer science ranked top 1% (49) of ESI World Rankings, and the 21st in the U.S. News Ranking of Best Global Universities for computer science. The academic faculty mainly consist of young and middle-aged scholars, and is well structured with a high proportion of young academic leaders. The faculty now has 143 full-time staffs, including 50 doctoral supervisors, 46 professors, 69 associate professors, 28 lecturers, 3 adjunct academicians of Chinese Academy of Engineering/Chinese Academy of Sciences, 1 winner of ACL Lifetime Achievement Award, 1 winner of CCF Distinguished Education Award, 4 winners of distinguished national experts including National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, 2 winners of young distinguished national experts including National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars,  1 National Distinguished Teacher, 3 Provincial Distinguished Teachers, 4 experts of the National High-tech R&D Program of China (863 Program), 14 NewCentury/Trans-Century Excellent Talents, and 4 national excellent teams: National Outstanding Teaching Team, MIIT Research-Oriented Innovative Education Team, the Ministry of Education Innovative Team and National Defense Technology Innovation Team.

     Currently, there are 2472 students, including 1596 undergraduate students, 534 graduate students, and 342 Ph.D. candidates in the faculty. During the past 60 years, the faculty has formed the education philosophy of “research-oriented, personalized and elite”, and already cultivated 9681 undergraduate students, 3697 students with master degree, and 647 students with Ph.D.degree. Of the alumni, 4 became well-known academicians of Chinese Academy of Engineering/Chinese Academy of Sciences, i.e, Prof. Wang Tianran, Prof. Fang Binxing, Prof. Gao Wen and Prof. Huai Jinpeng; 6 gained National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars; and 5 honored IEEE Fellows. Some of the alumni are serving as directors of computer academic institutes, deans of computer schools in universities, and directors of multinational corporations. This fact is regarded as“the Phenomenon of HIT Computer Brand Talents. The network and information security, intelligent human-computer interaction, Chinese information processing, service computing and software engineering are oriented to national strategy requirements; the fault-tolerant computing technology is geared to the needs of aerospace; massive data computing and bioinformatics are directed to cutting edge technologies. These research areas in the faculty have remarkable advantages and featuresand pioneer to advance. The faculty annually undertakes over 100 national research projects, including National Science and Technology Major Project, National Program on Key Basic Research Project (973 Program), 863 Program, National Key Technology Support Program, National Natural Science Foundation of China, and international cooperation programs with more than 80 million RMB of research fund on average per year. There are more than 200 papers published in international peer-reviewed academic journals per year, over 150 of which are SCI-indexed.

Since 2001, the faculty has won 1 first prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, 1 second prize of the State Natural Science Award, 11 second prizes of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, 10 first prizes and over 20 second prizes for Provincial or Ministerial Science and Technology Progress Awards. The faculty is carrying out international cultivating programs, including Distinguished Lectures Program of International Academic Masters, Adjunct Distinguished Professors Program of International Well-known Universities & Enterprises, International Distinguished Courses Program of Well-known Universities & Enterprises, and International Joint Training Program of Well-known Universities & Enterprises. Moreover, the faculty has conducted cooperation with over 40 universities with high reputation in terms of talent training programs, more than 30 graduate students benefit from the international joint cultivation; and 30-50 undergraduate students go to well-known international universities for short-term study per year. Moreover, 100-150 scholars are invited or dispatched forinternational academic exchange.
